Egg White Buns
- South Beach Diet Recipe (Phase 1)
Ingredients:
- 4 eggs (room temp)
- 1/4 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- parmesan cheese (little or a lot - whatever)
Directions:
- Set oven to 300* F.
- Separate CAREFULLY your eggs.
- Beat your whites until stiff peaks form, add cream of tartar, keep beating till really
stiff.
- Mix yolks, and cheeses together, add a little of your white to the yolk mixture.
- Slowly fold in your yolk mixture, trying not to break the whites down, streaky is okay.
- Pour in 6 globs on a greasy cookie sheet or in a greased muffin top pan.
- Bake for 35-40mins. Great as a sandwich.
